The House Project

Kinzigstraße 9 is a self-managed house project in Berlin-Friedrichshain. For many years, people have been living and working together here, committed to communal living, culture, and neighborhood engagement.

Self-management

All decisions are made collectively. There is no conventional property management – instead, we organize ourselves in working groups and regular assemblies.

Communal living

In addition to private apartments, there are communal spaces that can be used by everyone. The courtyard, the event space, and the shared kitchen are places of encounter.

Openness

We see ourselves as part of the neighborhood and regularly open our house for events, workshops, and community gatherings.
